What the fiscal adapter is

The fiscal adapter lets your device issue fiscal receipts without having a cash register of its own. The device sells, and PosFix numbers the receipt, prepares it for SFS and gives you back what gets printed.

It is not a cash register and it does not keep your commercial records. The sales still reach the control panel, next to the rest of the merchant's activity, and go into the day's Z report.

Who it is for: vending machines, car washes, web terminals — any device that takes money and must issue a receipt.

What you get

An adapter is the link between your device and a merchant in PosFix. It has:

  • an API key, which the device identifies itself with;
  • a way of working with SFS, chosen by the platform according to how the device is registered;
  • its own fiscal counters: the receipt number and the Z report number.

Before it issues real receipts, the device passes a certification: a test on the test environment, in which the platform watches whether the firmware follows the rules that prevent duplicate receipts.

How to start

The technical documentation — the flows, the error codes, certification and the API reference — is given to integrators on request, with personal access.

Write to us at info@m-373.com with:

  • the name of your company and of the merchant you are integrating for;
  • what kind of device it is;
  • who on your team writes the firmware.

You get access to the documentation and a key for the test environment.
