Correspondence

Here you choose which addresses receive the emails PosFix sends the company: the subscription payments, the news from e-Factura, the stock alerts and the fiscal register alerts. It is not where you write to your customers from — a payment request sent to a customer gets its address in the sending window.

Where to find it: Sidebar → Settings → the Correspondence tab

As long as you change nothing, all emails go to the company's main email. In each category you can add other addresses or remove the main email, for example so that the stock alerts go straight to the warehouse.

What each category receives

  • Invoices and payments — the payment request for the PosFix subscription and the notice that the trial or grace period has ended.
  • e-Factura — a new invoice received from a supplier and a change in an invoice's status at SFS: accepted, rejected, signed or cancelled.
  • Stock — the products that drop below the threshold, the batches that expire and the stock count report sent from the register, when no other address was written at the register.
  • Fiscal register — a register with a fiscal adapter or a vending machine that has stopped, or one of their fiscal days left without a Z report. The emails also go to the addresses written on the register's page, in the Fiscal adapter tab, under Notifications.

Your account's emails — the password reset, the team invitations — don't go through here. They go to the person who owns the account.

To send a category's emails to another address too:

  1. Settings → the Correspondence tab.
  2. In the category you want, type the address and press Add or Enter. You can paste several addresses at once, separated by commas.
  3. Save.

Each address in the category gets the email separately, with its own unsubscribe link. A category has at most 10 addresses. Save before you move to another tab in Settings — the "You have unsaved changes." message at the bottom shows you that you still have something to save.

To remove the main email from a category:

  1. Press × on the address marked main e-mail.
  2. Make sure at least one other address is left in the category.
  3. Save.

A category's emails have to go somewhere. If you remove the main email and leave no other address, Save stops with the message under the field. Changed your mind? + Send to the main e-mail again puts it back.

The main email

The main email is the address the company was registered with in PosFix. A category that keeps the main email follows it when the address changes — you don't have to save again.

It is not the same as the Email field in Settings → Organization Settings: if you change it there, nothing changes here. To change the company's main email, write to the PosFix team.

What can trip you up

An address no longer receives the e-Factura or stock emails. Someone pressed the unsubscribe link in a PosFix email sent there, or the person who signs in to the panel with that address turned off Notifications & Updates. They turn them back on in Settings → Email Preferences: turn off Unsubscribe from all emails and turn on Notifications & Updates. Invoices and payments and Fiscal register go out anyway.

No stock alert arrives, at any address. The Low-stock alerts toggle in Settings → Organization Settings → Preferences is off, or the products have no Min Stock Qty. The alert only goes out for items with a threshold above zero.

Save doesn't save, and the page jumps to a category. There is a mistyped address there, with the message that it doesn't look like an e-mail address. Fix it, press Enter, then Save.

You see the addresses but can't change them. The manager only reads the company settings, until the owner grants them more. The owner gives them the Edit level in Settings → Role permissions, on the Setări companie row (company settings).

You can't find the tab. Only the company's owner and manager see Correspondence.

  • e-Factura — the supplier invoices the e-Factura category emails are about
  • Products — the stock threshold after which the alert goes out
